In recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the 16 Days of Activism, the United Nations Population Fund, alongside Women Enabled International and the Permanent Missions to the UN of Spain, Ecuador, and the United Kingdom, is pleased to present a new resource, entitled Women and Young Persons with Disabilities: Guidelines for Providing Rights-Based and Gender-Responsive Services to Address Gender-Based Violence and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. The Guidelines are a part of the We Decide Programme, which advocates that women and young persons with disabilities should enjoy equal opportunities, live a life free of gender based violence, and can realize their sexual and reproductive health and rights.
