Community Emergency Response Team training is a FREE emergency training program to empower our community to prepare for and overcome the effects of any disaster that can disrupt our daily lives.
Learn basic skills that can mean the difference between being a victim or a survivor in the next emergency and allow you to contribute in a meaningiful way to your community.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a home preparedness class. The major focus is on preparation to help your neighborhood respond to a disaster through post-disaster CERT operations. Our goal is for trainees to become members of their local CERT team or, if their neighborhood as yet has no team, to help recruit future team members and to volunteer with teams in nearby neighborhoods.
To receive a Certificate of Completion, you must attend all classes and the Hands-on drill. Arrangements can be made to make-up classes.
The following CERT modules are from 9 a.m to 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted:
CERT Introduction; Fire Suppression/Utilities Shutoff/Hazardous Awareness (Sat. Mar. 30, 2019)
CERT Drill Day (Sat. Apr. 27, 2019, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lunch breaks are included with each training day.
IMPORTANT: When you register, please make sure you select 1 of each ticket for every person you are registering. When you check out you should have 5 tickets, one for each day of the training and one for the drill.
If you are registering more than one person, please submit a unique order for each individual! It is very important that we have unique information for each participant, even if you live in the same household.
If you are making up a missed class from a previous CERT training, please select a ticket for the day you need to make up.
