Born and raised in the heart of the Canadian prairies and maturing on the west coast of British Columbia, Noah Derksen writes with the groundedness of harsh Manitoba winters mixed with the optimism of British Columbia’s coastline. Ever seeking motion and progression, Noah has spent the past three years honing his live performance skills across Canada and in select regions of the United States, playing concerts from BC to Nova Scotia, and New York to California.

Dylan MacDonald has spent the past 7 years playing with his band The Middle Coast. The group released two records and toured extensively throughout Canada and Japan. MacDonald has also spent time working as a session guitarist for acts like Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Don Amero and Sol James. His new solo project, Field Guide, is made up of intimate songs, acoustic guitar, drum kit, Wurlitzer piano and bass guitar. The songs have drawn comparisons to Donovan Woods, Leif Vollebekk and Bahamas.
