On Monday, June 24 from 4:30–6 pm, the Institute on Community Integration is providing a complimentary screening of Invaluable: The Unrecognized Profession of Direct Support, a 45-minute documentary exploring the complex, underappreciated, and underfunded work of direct support professionals (DSPs), the people who support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living full lives as participating members of their communities. A panel discussion, including ICI director Amy Hewitt and filmmaker Jerry Smith, will follow the screening. The program begins promptly at 4:30 pm.
