Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike is a Belgian DJ and record producer duo, composed of brothers Dimitri Thivaios and Michael Thivaios. They were ranked No. 1 in 2015 and were ranked No. 2 in 2014, 2016 and 2017 on DJ Mags Top 100 DJs list.[1][2]

Born in Belgium, Dimitri and Michael Thivaios are of Greek origin[3] The brothers grew up in the Flemish town of Willebroek. They began to make their first steps as DJ's reportedly at a young age.[4] Very quickly, they made several appearances in small clubs and were resident BeatFM radio DJs. Dimitri then left Flanders in 1999 and began touring Europe. He lived in Mallorca and then in Halkidiki, Greece before moving to Ibiza in 2003, where he was a resident in major clubs such as Privilege and Space.[5]

They appeared as Tomorrowland Hosts for the first time and were allowed to make the anthem of the festival, this was "Tomorrow (Give in to the Night)" with Dada Life and Tara McDonald, which was released by the label of the duo, Smash The House. Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike returned to make the anthem, this time with Afrojack and NERVO.[6]

On 12 May 2016, the brothers picked up three awards including 'Best Global DJ' for a second year in a row, as well as 'Best Big Room DJ', and 'Best Music Video' for their collaboration with Ummet Ozcan 'The Hum', which reached #1 in the singles chart in Belgium at the EMPO Awards, Mexico and earned them a Platinum record in their home country.[7]
