John Stephen Benezet (22 Jun 1683, Abbeville - 4 Apr 1751, Germantown)[unreliable source?] was a French Huguenot refugee who fled France first to Rotterdam, then London before settling in Germantown, Pennsylvania, USA
In 1715 he left France after all his goods had been seized. After spending time in Rotterdam he moved to London, where he went into business with his brother Jacques/James Benezet.
