List of Highest-grossing Mobile Games

This is a list of the highest-grossing mobile games. This is a list of mobile games that have generated at least $100 million in gross revenue. The highest-grossing mobile app to date is Mixi's Monster Strike (2013), a Japanese role-playing physics game with puzzle elements. It has grossed over $8 billion in worldwide revenue, much of it from Asia, especially the Japanese market. The highest-grossing mobile app was previously Puzzle & Dragons (2012), another Japanese role-playing puzzle video game, from GungHo Online Entertainment. It had earned $7 billion up until 2018, when it was surpassed by Monster Strike.[1]

The video game company with the highest number of titles on the list is Chinese conglomerate Tencent, which publishes and/or owns eleven games on the list, including four in the top ten. Their top-grossing mobile game is Honor of Kings (2015), also known as Arena of Valor internationally, a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game that is the second highest-grossing title on the list. Five other Tencent titles on the list are from their Finnish subsidiary Supercell. Other publishers with multiple games on the list include Activision Blizzard with five titles, including three Candy Crush games from their subsidiary King; Playrix with four titles; NCsoft, NetEase and Nintendo with three titles each; and Bandai Namco, Garena, Konami, Machine Zone and Square Enix with two titles each. For the highest-grossing video game franchises (including mobile and non-mobile titles), see the list of highest-grossing video game franchises.
