Welcome to my new and improved Step-by-Step harmonica course! In Step #2 we discover how and why the Diatonic Harmonica was designed the way it was. We then learn its' namesake, the Diatonic Major Scale, get moving up and down the harmonica and tidy up the sound of our low notes. The document mentioned is available at my website in the members section.. https://mitchgrainger.com/join-free/
All you need to follow my Step-by-Step harmonica course is a Diatonic Harmonica (aka Blues Harp) in the key of C. There are many different makes and models out there; Hohner, Suzuki and Seydel all make great harmonicas. Just look online or ask your local music shop for a "diatonic harmonica in C".
Now, I guarantee that with regular practice and a strict step by step, or lesson by lesson approach, you will be up and running on the harmonica in a very short time. However, there is no rush, take your time to hone the skills presented in each lesson before moving on to the next step. In time you will be bending, improvising and playing with the knowledge to take your musical journey in any direction you like.
Ok, that's it for now! Thanks for watching, I'll see you in step #3 and If you'd like to learn more, my complete 30 Step course with pdf documents, jam and example tracks is available now at mitchgrainger.com. Please visit https://mitchgrainger.com/harmonica-read-more/ for more info...
